Why Basketball?
We know the impact the sport can have on its community. Basketball brings together a diverse mix of players, limiting barriers set by age, race, ethnicity and socio-economic backgrounds. Not only does it serve as a physical outlet, it provides the space to increase confidence, develop problem solving skills and build friendships.
Over the past two years we’ve all witnessed the disruption COVID-19 has brought to our city. We’ve learned so much about what our communities, specifically our youth, need as a result. Homecourt Advantage was spawned as a result of this. We are on a mission to provide healthy, outdoor spaces where youth can be active, safe and social.
