For the inaugural year of the Homecourt Advantage program, we have selected the following two parks within the City of Toronto to be the first recipients of a revitalized basketball court.

Oak Street Park

Located at 165 River Street in Cabbagetown, the new community-focused court will complement an existing playground and lush greenery. Walkable from the 505 Streetcar, and on several bus routes, the revitalized court will feature art by Blake Angeconeb, and is within walking distance of ample green space for all to enjoy.

Stanley Park

Located at 890 King Street West, near Liberty Village this North side revamp of the beloved court, supported by lead sponsor adidas Canada and featuring Ben Johnston’s designs, will enhance the neighbourhood and existing playground. Situated by a bustling area surrounded by shops, dining, coffee shops, art and community-driven hubs, Stanley Park is located directly on the 504 Streetcar route, and walkable from many major arteries on the West side of the city.
