Building on the success of Homecourt Advantage's inaugural year with court revitalizations in Stanley Park and Oak Street Park, we are pleased to present 2024's priority: Hillcrest Park.
Stanley Park
Launched in 2024, the park at 890 King Street West, near Liberty Village this North side revamp of the beloved court, supported by lead sponsor adidas Canada and featuring Ben Johnston’s designs, will enhance the neighbourhood and existing playground. Situated by a bustling area surrounded by shops, dining, coffee shops, art and community-driven hubs, Stanley Park is located directly on the 504 Streetcar route, and walkable from many major arteries on the West side of the city.
HILLCREST PARK
Located at 950 Davenport Road, Near Wychwood. A beloved community hub, Hillcrest Park features a well-used basketball court in addition to a ball diamond, a dog park, tennis courts, a community garden, a wading pool and a children’s playground. With spectacular views of the city skyline and Lake Ontario, Lifetime is pleased to be revitalizing this court to bring a redesigned, vibrant offering to this high-traffic public park.
Oak Street Park
Located at 165 River Street in Cabbagetown, this new community-focused court complements an existing playground and lush greenery. Walkable from the 505 Streetcar, and on several bus routes, the revitalized court, which has already been foundationally upgraded, is beloved by many. To further enhance this public space, we are looking for a sponsor to fund the artist partnership to bring additional vibrancy to the community.
